高度専門化したがん医療に関わる医師・研究者は、自らの専門性を高めるとともに、
役割分担し医療チームの一員として機能するための共通知識の習得が求められており、また、がん医療のグローバル化も加速している昨今の状況などを背景に、本学会はAmerican Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) と協働し、若手育成に力を入れておりますが、この度、2024 年のASCO Medical Oncology In-Training Exam (ITE) の広報依頼が届きましたので、以下にご案内に申し上げます。

ASCO Medical Oncology In-Training Exam
A popular resource for international medical oncology trainees is ASCO’s Medical Oncology In-
Training Exam (ITE). This coming year the exam will be given on February 27 & 28, 2024 and
registration is currently open. The full detail are here. This case-based, multiple-choice
examination is intended to be used for self-evaluation and program improvement so that
trainees know the areas in which they need to focus to strengthen their knowledge base. The
200-question exam is six hours long but given over two days so that trainees in the same
program can alternate days. The exam is online, so it can be taken at a trainee’s home
institution. Reduced pricing is available for trainees who are ASCO members, as well as
countries classified by the World Bank as low- and middle-income. If you need assistance,
